Am I Eligible?
Eligibility Information
The Pantry follows the income eligibility guidelines from Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado; however, the Pantry takes into consideration extenuating circumstances, life can be hard, and we believe you! Whether it is short term or long-term assistance, the Pantry is here to be everyone’s safety net.
What We Do: Gunnison Country Food Pantry provides low-barrier access to food assistance for those in need. There is no proof of income, residency, citizenship, or identity required to utilize any of the Pantry’s programs. The only requirement for No Cost Groceries is holding an up-to-date application with the Pantry.
How Do I Sign Up: You may sign up online via the Client Inquiry Form. When you arrive at the Pantry for your first visit, a volunteer will check you in and get you set up for shopping! You may also sign up in-person at the Pantry.
What Can I Expect at My First Visit: We recognize it can be challenging to ask for food assistance, and the Pantry serves everyone who is brave enough to ask for help. The Pantry requires no documentation to Shop the Pantry, therefore you only need to bring a reusable shopping bag or two for your visit.
